Why are Assessments important?
The initial assessment is important in order for you and your Personal Trainer to get to know each other. In addition, this time is used to provide the Trainer with the information necessary to give you the best possible service in future sessions.
- Identify health/medical risks which may require physicians' clearance prior starting an Exercise Program.
- Establish your baseline fitness level.
- Allows for future re-evaluation to monitor progress.
- Compare results to standardized norms to individuals of the same age and gender.
- Allows Exercise Program design to be individualized to meet your needs based on your lifestyle, the activities you participate in and the fitness assessment results.
- Motivates you to stick with the Exercise Program.
